Vegas Week.

All is ready, mostly. The last pre-Vegas check came in, will have actually a little more than the planned. If I'm frugal this week I can have $5200 cash avail, so that's $900/day for the 5 full days, and $700 for the shorter first Saturday. More than enough. I won't be touching the Mlife CC between now and the trip which is sitting on a $400 balance so that's another $4300 spendable (after Cosmo charges) on that card for all the food/bev. Won't come anywhere near that but good to know I won't have to worry. Timing is good this trip as I'll have another check dropping the day I come back, so I won't be broke even if I do blow through the whole wad.

Added another food reservation for Scarpetta at the Cosmo, along with Delmonico and Yellowtail that makes 3 of the nights sorted for food. Have $71 of Identity resort credit going into the trip, and will be tacking on more in the 3 days before the reservation so as it stands I should only be paying for one of three meals at top-end eateries. Japanese, Italian and...meat.

Points plan is the same, get Mlife Gold on Saturday most likely then attack Identity the rest of the trip, for the most part. I may throw in some at MGM spots post-Gold during the trip as well, but the focus will be Cosmo for the next two trips, probably. I have a full year to rack up enough Mlife to keep Gold.

It's going to be fucking hot while I'm there, forecast calls for no days below 106° and a couple over 110°. Toasty. Cabs everywhere of a distance and cold beverages will be the plan. I've sort of come to grips with the no bars part of the trip. It will be a thing, no doubt, but I'm not going to let it ruin what should still be a good trip. Life, and a Vegas trip, are what you make it, so I'm going to make it a banger. Seeing the Vegas scene from a comfy lounge chair should be an interesting change from being "back facing the world" at a bar. It's Vegas, I can still get my beverage on.

Loaded up the final sync on the iPad today, it's official: no Vegas playlist this time, for the first time ever. I found no inspiration for a list this time and already have several good lists to choose from. No reason to force it. I'll still have plenty of good tunes for the Boom II and the Wireless cans.

Aside from all the above, I just need to pull the $$ out of the bank, do a lod of laundry and get through a week of work, then Bob's your uncle. So in 6 days I'll be taking in the sights of the Chandelier next to this young lady above (yeah right), starting what should be an interesting, different, and differently interesting trip.
