2 Months Out.

Couple months out from trip 2 of the Vegas year.

As of now still sticking with MB in a Strip View room. probably won't switch it up unless my offers improve with MGM, which is unlikely. Even with comped weekday rooms at CET, the new waived resort fees and FP/RC packages still make it more logical to do MGM stays. I love the MB campus too so even though it's in the hinterlands it's fine w/me.

Have finally paid off the last of the CC damage from the flurry of late last year/early this year trips so now I can start building up cheese again to be in a comfortable position for April. 5 more checks between now and then and nothing big to pay for so getting to something like $6500-7000 should be doable, especially if I get my tax refunds, which would add $1100. Not sure if I'll see the fed one though. In any case I should be in good funds by mid-April.

In good shape in the new MGM Rewards system, just need to get to 75K points to keep Gold and already have 21K in hand so should be a POC. Liking the sheen of the new plan with waived resort fees and the $100 dinner after getting to Gold again this year. Have $29 of convertible points built up and $100 of slot credit too so more bonus for the April trip.

Not much for plans yet, but I did make a rezzy for Rivea again since I'm in the MB complex, gotta get that fantastic bison filet again, and getting it for free with MGM points/RC will be nice. As it's a full 6 day-er I'll likely make at least one more food reservation and maybe a show if something piques my interest. No rush to suss things out yet, still a ways out.

Here in the City things plod along. Waiting for work to get busy, going out on Saturdays, doing dick all during the week...i.e. the Rut. But it's fine, just knowing there's the pot of Vegas gold at the end of the rut rainbow is enough to keep me going. Body's more or less holding up, so there's that. Not even the slightest hint of interest from the female of the species but I'm basically resigned that that's the way of things now so whatev. I make no effort there anyway so it's a self-fulfilling loop.

So, yeah. Not much to report and likely same for the next couple months but I'll start ramping up the posts next month when the real countdown begins.
