Money. It's A Gas.

The money is set for Vegas, and it may get slightly better.

Got the Xmas bonus very early this year, it's the same as always with the caveat that instead of a big stack of ones like the last several years it's in the form of a check with taxes taken out - so it's $425 this year. Eh, the other $75 would be nice but I also don't want to be having them break the law for it.

So that allows the total save to be a respectable $4570. That will mean $530 (see below) to spend in transit to Vegas and on the first short night, then exactly $700/day for the rest of the 6 days. My goal is always to have $1K per day but with the long-ass trip this time that was never going to happen. As stated previously, the level of gambling I do anymore makes the 7 bills enough for every day. I'll also have around another $2000 if needed on CC's as a backup, so it'll be plenty. My math could be fuzzy too (fuck math) so there might be a little extra to work with when I finally pull all the funds on Vegas week.

I've paid all remaining bills due before the trip aside from the half rent which will due day of fly-out, but everything's covered so that feels nice.

I also sold my old Nexus now that I have the Pixel 2, so that added $160 more to the first night fund and will have any extra from that night roll into the following day and so on and so on. If all goes according to normal consumption I should be well up from the budget by the 2nd or 3rd day and can spend/gamble more freely.

Also part of the work bonus is a nice pair of wired/wireless JBL headphones. I've been needing new cans for a while now and this solves that problem. They sound great too. Won't be taking them on the trip as they're on-ear and would take up too much room in the pack (since I'm as usual taking my UE Boom BT speaker), but still nice to have.

So the trip is pretty much set. I will have one more smallish myVegas thing to redeem but other than that this one is all over but the shouting.
