Tomorrow.
I suppose after 20+ trips I should have this Vegas thing down. And, I do.
Everything is set. Money worked out just as I planned, should be plenty for 4 1/2 days. Have plenty of discount food possibilities so assuming I don't get drunk and put all my money into a Willie Wonka machine some night I'll be fine. If all goes to normal I'll be able to loosen up and get nicely spendy by day 3. Will have $800/day regardless so I'm not going to exactly be broke in any case.
Feeling like I have a very low-level sick going on and have for a couple days, just kind of body-sore and woozy, hoping a good night's sleep tonight will crack it back and I can be 100% for the 5 days I'm there.
Using actual luggage like an adult this time, though the new "carry on" I just got (via work) may be too big for my Jetblue flight so I'm using the slightly smaller, not so nice one I bought in the break between trips. Whatever, at least it's not a backpack like a 12 year old. I'm still slightly terrified that if my first flight tomorrow isn't on time I'm going to miss my connector, but I can't control fucking JetBlue's schedule so I just have to hope.
Weather looks like it's going to be nice+, may be in the 90's for the last 3 days I'm there and looks like not a cloud in the sky, nor a sweatshirt to be needed. I told my Twitter account that's it's too bad I don't wear shorts. Because I'm not a man-baby.
I went to work early today, so I'm nicely sleep deprived, should sleep well tonight. No big rush to get up in the morning anyway, it'll actually be right at my usual wake-up time for work so that's nice for once and should start me off on a good sleep pattern for the trip. Then it's off to park the car, take the shuttle to the terminal, have time for a beer or two then pray for 2 on-time flights to get me in town around 4:30p, then it's go time. Quick cab to Trop, check in, and with any luck I'll be at the Dorsey by 5:30p having my first Air Mail of the trip.
Hoping to find a nice, wholesome girl like the above to play bingo with on this trip. Wish me luck with that. See all two of you readers of this blog after the trip.
