Four Days. The Plan.

4 days until I'm on a plane to Happyland.

The plan is pretty much set. Flying in Late Friday, no room, so it'll be get to NYNY, drop off the bag at the bell desk, then My Greatest Vegas Hits that night, which will likely mean get straight over to Cosmo for warmup drinks and maybe a snack at the Henry, then working my way up to Rockhouse and The Whiskey Room at Venetian and maybe Abbey Road at Mirage. Then working my way back down to the Vesper at Cosmo again and maybe playing some slots after, then grabbing a breakfast at America at NYNY and dicking around there while waiting to check into the room. All of this is malleable of course based on if one of those places (or some other damn place) becomes interesting for one reason or another.

Once getting into the room, hopefully by noon Saturday it's sleepy time all day (oh Jeebus let it be a quiet room) then up around 5:30p or so to get ready to head over to Palms via cab for the AiC show. Like to get there by 7p so I have time to find the Pearl and get a couple drinks in me and maybe a snack. The show at 8p should be great, then I have no real plan after that. May stick around the Palms (I've never been up there) if it looks interesting, or I may actually head over to the Double Down if I decide to cab it back to the Strip. If I decide to just walk back from the Strip from Palms it'll spill me out on Flamingo which is right in my wheelhouse so from there it could be MGVH again that night. Leaving it a bit open. Likely another late night. It wouldn't suck to be somewhere to watch a bit of the final round of the British Open early Sunday morning, it was one of the cooler things on my last July trip.

Don't have much planned for Sunday day, might well be a late wake up then probably will use up my myVegas credit at Nine Fine for a quick lunch. Will likely dick around the NYNY/MGM area maybe playing a bit of slots during the late afternoon, as I can't get too far away from MGM since I will be seeing KA there at 7P.

See the show, take a pee then it's across the bridge to NYNY again for the Gallagher's reservation at 9:30p. Great steak as always there, using up Resort Credit and maybe Ex Comps, then again it's "free time" for the rest of Sunday night. Sunday nights are strangely pretty dead on the Strip in my experience, so it could end up being a reasonably mellow night though I'm sure there will be Bond/Vesper at the Cosmo in there somewhere, as always. No nap this day, so going to *try* not to stay out too late that night as Monday is...

...The Great Stratosphere to Mandalay Bay Death March. I've already posted what this will entail. Try to be up, over to MGM, take the Monorail and be up there by 11:30a or so to not have this travesty spill into the last Vegas night. Done with the March hopefully by 6p, off to bed for a few hours then out for the last night in Vegas with no real plan. Certainly a nice dinner somewhere then close out the festivities with likely My Greatest Vegas Hits again, NYNY to Cosmo and back.

Likely in late, Tuesday morning decide whether the money/my body will allow me to stay another day (unlikely on the latter), and assuming not it's take advantage of the late checkout I've arranged, wake up around 2p, head to the airport and back to my Hobbit Hole by 5:30p or so. The End.

I like the cut of this trip's jib. There's a good mix every day of planned activities either during the day or in the evening, then "free time" at night to get lost/pass out/end up in jail. It's packing a lot of trip into 3 days but I still have time to sleep and recover every day so I'm hopefully not a zombie by Monday. There's not really a lot of gamble time built in here so it might be a pretty good trip money-wise, though if I come home with just enough to buy ramen for a week and a half that's fine too. I'm taking the $3.5K to spend it.

Sleeping up this week, try to get a rest bank built up so the Friday night into Saturday morning stretch won't hurt too much.

So here we are. It's Vegas Week.
