Downtown.

So Circa opened on the Fremont Experience.

It looks pretty fly, from pictures, especially the sports book. Not that I usually give a shaft about sports books, but I do like spectacle. In general it looks like a strip-quality resort, which is what downtown has always lacked and what partly has kept me from ever going down there to spend a day.

I'm a strip addict, always have been, and don't foresee that changing with a day trip downtown, but it might be fun to go see how the other Vegas half lives. I doubt seriously that will happen on the short-ish Turkey trip, but I will have the time and opportunity on the Xmas trip and may well make the trek.

Probably would Uber it to curb the long taxi expense, and go late morning. See what can be seen in and around the Experience, concentrating on Circa then see if I'm having fun or pining to get back to the strip. There are supposed to be a lot of fun divey bars in the immediate DT area, something the strip is sadly lacking. Jumping in and out of some of those on an afternoon when they aren't slammed might be the best way to do the thang. At least that way I can say I've properly been there, and who knows, it may end up being a blast.

I've always meant to at least check it out, and now with Circa beckoning it might be time to finally do it.
