Next after Next after Next. And Maybe Next after Next After Next After Next.
Way ahead of the game, but have prospective rooms booked for a potential Labor Day trip, and the inevitable Xmas week trip.
Labor Day would be the next theoretical trip slot, being it's a PTO day saved on the Monday (assuming I'm even still with my current company then) and it's a good gapper between July and Xmas. Thought now might be a good time to book before everyone else gets the same idea. Rates with Mlife pretty high, but was able to for some reason score a Classic King at NoMad again, at only $28/night. Despite it being a huge holiday weekend I'll be in a posh hotel in a great location for less than the two Aria trips in April and July. Don't think I'll have anything better on a price/resort quality balance pop up between now and then.
Tracking prices on Google Flights for the plane, but in no rush to book. Right now it's over $250 but hopefully it will drop around $200 then can jump on it. Probably won't get any better than that for a holiday weekend. It's still 6 months out so no rush.
Also locked up a great room rate for Xmas. Bellagio is finally renovating some rooms, so I've booked one of those, a "Premier King" for the 21st through 27th. 6 nights for $600 all in. Going with a shorter 6 night, 5 day'er this time, the 7-8 day Xmas trips are just too long for my sad old ass anymore. Will only need to use my floating holidays for that one so banking more regular PTO again. My relationship with Bellagio is well chronicled in these pages but again it's the best combo of rate, room and resort quality available on Mlife for those dates, by far. Aria is over $110/night during the same period.
As always, both these, and all Mlife bookings are subject (by me) to be bumped or cancelled up to a couple days before trip time, with no penalty. If I hit Identity Gold in April or July one or both of these could transition to Cosmo if comps come through. I always keep my options open to better rate or resort offers as they pop up. Fairly locked into April at Aria, and everything thereafter is negotiable.
BUT, if nothing changes in the plans in the next 9 months, I do have hotels booked through the year now. It would be 2 Arias, a NoMad and a Bellagio. You're not going to do much better than that in the Mlife hierarchy.
Starting to get amped up and excited for this Vegas year, with trip one counting down. Let's get this thing rolling.
